So my question
I'm off to KL next week - this should not affect me, however if I'm traveling sometime next year, can I adopt a wait and see before getting this?

I don't know if this will come to pass or is it another panic prata situation coming haha

Since I bought my car secondhand a few months ago I've noticed this sticker on the left headlight.. is it the VEP tag? Don't have the blue sticker anywhere though. I haven't applied for VEP before so I don't actually know what it looks like apart from the blue sticker I've seen on some cars.

This is TnG RFID tag.  Try whether you can register on your TnG app.

If owner forget to dereg, song ah!

My VEP RFID also similar to this. Last year i retain my car number and it took me about 2 months to setup the new VEP.

Thanks! I just assumed it was some symbol for LED light lol.

Driven into MY many times already, including a trip to KL. I haven't noticed any gantries opening for me, so I guess it is inactive or kosong?

It only works in toll that says RFID.  Make sure it is linked to your TnG.

Otherwise, need to reverse out.

My VEP tag which I pasted on my car last year in May. Looks like yours.

Expiring of VEP means the VEP tag also expiring too cos the tag only valid for 5 years, same duration as the VEP.

Does that mean we have to registered for a "new" VEP ? 

mine Aug, hearsay some received one month before expiry not the 6 mths in the FAQ

can be VEP RFID also, they have changed to the same design.

the blue sticker no more, since last year they have changed to this transparent tag same as touchngo RFID, so it could be either one

i find this is one of the most "stoopiak" sticker that pasted outside at headlight

anyone can scratch and peel ... then what? every time go replace?

That’s my VEP RFID. I have read that some individuals paste it over a transparent film, place in front of the headlight, once approved, transfer to windscreen.

they want it to be tampered proof, non-transferable, not sure if they will check at the custom itself to ensure it's not tampered with and installed at the correct place.

1 RFID tag can perform both VEP and TnG functions? Otherwise I could potentially have 2 rfid stickers on my headlight in future?

If mine is VEP, how to check ah? I certainly don't have any details from the previous owner - I couldn't even transfer AD servicing credit from them.

it works the same just that integrated with VEP.
