Don't worry, 4 in 5 SG vehicles visiting MY pre Covid have yet to install VEP. Just make sure the ball is in their court and you should be fine.

MY was pushing SG very hard to reopen the land borders, don't think they will shoot themselves in the feet.  Johor is going to see a V shaped recovery, no way in hell the politicians are going to let the bureaucrats at Road Transport ministry stop the gradual return of Singaporeans.

Not at the moment

You can get these cards off carousell with cash inside

I will get a few before I drive up. I'm also keen to know if VEP / RFID is needed - if it's too much hassle I won't bother.

I am eyeing a trip up to KL in August if things go well, otherwise I'll save my leave for a real overseas trip in 2023...

Any hotel as long as there are available room and sufficient member points to redeem. 

Can book those member only room either calling their spore branch office or through their web site one or two day prior departing Singapore.  

Alternatively if game enough there are tout offering over night room. Mostly at 1st world but advise against taking up such offer. Security an issue. Never try them personally though.

The mobile team is there till end month, but the issue is need to look out for them 😁

Now no need buy travel insurance ya? But how come fill up the form at my sejahtera apps got one column that says travel insurance yes or no. Also need contact person in malaysia. Also my wife says her friend went in never fill in anything.

Just say no insurance and contact person put urself or ur fam member

if crockford full go for grand ion delemen or swiss garden

 

if KL alot choices. Sometimes i reach hotel there and get down my car in hotel carpark then start booking and check in immediately.

If game enough can ask the guy to get you a room at the casino. I have seen gamblers did that but not for me as i dare not try such gung-ho tactic with wife and mum. Now since the birth of me and wifey ceased stepping into casino. Unhealthy with child around. 😁

Looks like the T&G side comes empty, I guess the first toll booth will be the place to top up? 

I'm still waiting for the VEP confirmation, hope it's smooth by August...
