Anyone went in recently?

Can I still buy TnG card from the booth at Tuas Checkpoint?

Also, is VEP required? I've just registered but I guess the application will take a while.

You can't buy it in Malaysia... unless you're really fortunate... not a petrol kiosks, not at Watson's, not at 7-11, not at provision stores, not at anywhere... seems like they're deliberately not producing maybe to push users to RFID + e-wallet...

Thanks for the info!

Ok Finally managed to upload documents at the JPG web site. Then also downloaded the TnG ewallet APP - anyone managed to top up say RM100 using the bank OCBC ?

The app brings you to OCBC login page. Is it for our local OCBC internet banking login ?

@Dafansu

I opt to have the VEP RFID delivered to my address and according to instruction, there is no option to paste it on the windscreen. I heard at the RFID Fitment centre, you can choose to paste it on the windscreen (inside) to avoid sabotage. Where is yours?

In MY, many are using RFID holder but was told for VEP RFID, that is illegal. What are your thoughts?

This tag is meant to be pasted on the headlamp same as what their local cars are using, instruction is listed inside. Windscreen will be for the first few batches, the blue colour type. Some bought the holder and pasted it inside the top left of windscreen. Technically, this is not allowed as it's meant to be tampered proof so that one cannot pass it to another car to use. Up to u to see which is the best option.

Thanks for sharing. I prefer windscreen location but on non permanent basis (I was unlucky enough to have to replace my windscreen twice in last 3 years).

I will probably follow the official instruction.

@Voodooman Wah - may I know how to request for the Tag to be delivered to our Spore home address ?

Once your application is linked to TnG eWallet (hope you have registered using NRIC instead of passport no, otherwise you need to write to TnG and provide some documentary proof for update), you will receive an email from VEP administrator and using the link provided, you will be asked if you want the tag delivered to your Singapore address or to have the VEP RFID tag installed at a fitment centre in JB.
