Can’t post pics yet but we just got through cat 8 typhoon and a little cyclone rain ..

more grateful for the gentle rains we have at home

I had the humbling experience of encountering a T10 typhoon in HK few years back. Made me realize how insignificant self-important humans really are in the face of mother nature 🙏🏼

Peak was all fog and mist 

but still fun 

I ate here with wifey before baby come so it’s natural we come back here again 😆

The climate in HK is very different, and I'm not talking about the recent rain spells..

The shops are more quiet, the mood more subdued.. people are still rude and impatient on the streets, but there is more quiet resignation than sheer indignation and pride..

The more high end stores are quite friendly and the hotels are also nice, but the stalls, the taxi drivers are less so

In fact I had one driver with a F1 death wish...
