Shanghai, Beijing, any first tier city is better than Hong Kong... but reputation wise, now all the same... From a bystander's perspective, it's a bit sad... cos in the past, their pop culture, movie industry, was so influential... for those of us who lived our youth through the heady days from the 70-90s from the pearl of the orient to a bit of an afterthought now...
