No need to find in airport.

Go straight to Airport Express station to top up.

If it has not been used for > 1 year, need to go to Airport Express Station to activate it.

Thanks bros

I'll top up at the airport first otherwise no $ inside..

I will go a week ahead, then I do my work and they come after for the R&R... so I'll need to use the Octopus for going around. It seems that this card is akin to the Ezylink, which can be used for many areas, including trains, MRT, even the taxis?

Uber might be hard, because we won't have a chair and wife won't like to lug it around..

Octopus can also pay for your meals and 7-11 purchases.

Eh? I thought your wife was the one who insist on taking the infant bed along and you had to carry it like a GPMG??? Now don't want to lug a lightweight child seat along? You got those dual use type - detachable car seat that can be attached to the stroller? That will do...

HK not difficult to move around and have plenty of nice food...

the last time I was there was just before the city riots...

stayed for a few mths on business...everytime i am there is for the food...maybe is me, as i find it easy to move about and linger with the locals as i speak fluent cantonese (my mom family is from there) and i stayed there when I was a toddler...but that was many many many moons ago...heck i dun even remember I stayed there...hear it from my mom eons ago..

Anyway, is not a difficult city to move about and find food...but yes, some locals are a bit rude....just dun bother..and move away..

Usually if the person like HK is due to no language problem, can understand and speak cantonese. If not seems like many people don't really like to go HK, they rather go to Taiwan.

I can speak fluent cantonese but I'm not cantonese [laugh], still got friendly shops, I ever went into a women's clothing shop, end up chit chat with the owner for an hour, just talk about HK and about what happen to his shop during the riots, not many customer came in cos it was weekday and inside an old office/mall.

but then i dun really like HK  [laugh]
