I think Huawei's sister company Honor will soon also have one under the Honor brand but will Google Play services then i go for that one. 🙂

A lot of China Chinese are patriot and support their own technology. Sup sup water considering 1.4 billions Chinese in China... have not reach 1% yet.

why not just get a tablet? much cheaper same practical function, spoil just heart pain instead of heart attack.🤔

Not really 100%. Prc are very picky.

Patriotism can help only if your product are better or as good as Non local products.

Same pattern in their EV launches too. Announce tonnes of pre order, latest actual handover number don't match. 

But it probably creates fomo among target customer and scalpers.

Is more to do with refresh ratio and resolution than large screen.
