We need more of Tesla direct selling. Same with housing agents and insurance. All an added drag on cost.

Direct selling doesn't necessarily mean lower costs for the consumer. Could simply mean the principal makes more profit per car.

Sure. But conversely adding extra middle men will never be cheaper 😂

Yup, I can imagine PA increasing its servicing charges to mitigate the loss of new car sales :D

If I want to buy an Audi, I only want to talk to and handle by a Charbo, not Chatbot.

Remembered rust time when test drove the Q5 and I asked the not so chio SE why the car don’t have those basic driving electronic aids.. she told me AUDI is a driver’s car and don’t need all those gadgets..  I immediately drove back to the showroom.. bare minimum specs but max profits.. really KNN🤭

yeah, would have bought Q3 but they don't even offer the option of memory seats for driver, which i think is ridiculous omission for the price...

The idea is sound but wtf goes to Cross Street Exhange?

Porsche at least has a nice cafe and has set up their showroom to be a more experiential studio, and is near the Bugis/Suntec/Raffles City shopping belt.
BYD has the targeted mainstream casual crowd at Suntec.

Chinatown? Feels not here, not there. Cock.

Might as well open at Dempsey, at least more atas and can have a brand-centric cafe.

Audi TT was one of my dream cars... I wonder if they have real bargains? I saw this renovation sale sign hung outside their showroom for a while..

@Ceecookie

I second this. The A5 I bought last year was totally stock. No in car camera, no free servicing, no solar film, warranty 3 yrs only.

no safety features except for 360 camera which I think came with the car and the brake pedal (hehe).

although I got it at cost, 216k, it was bare bone and I mull over it for a long time before selling it off a year later and switching to EV

That's exactly why i dropped the A5... I was looking at it early last year and for a premium car, it's shockingly bare and does not have common features, even among bread-and-butter cars, such as:

  1. TPMS
  2. Interior ambient light
  3. Anti-collision system
  4. Lane departure warning system
  5. Adaptive cruise control
  6. Memory seat only for driver

To further rub salt:

  1. 3-year warranty only
  2. Only black interior available
  3. Car available only black/red colour
  4. No free service credits at all
  5. Solar film and camera will only be thrown in FOC if u take up a huge in-house loan & insurance with them etc...

OMG.

And likewise for the A4 as well... No wonder we hardly see newer A4 and A5 models running around.

PA really dunno how to properly and competitively spec their cars. They should be replaced, period.

Were you also offered the $215,999 price? To rub further salt, the YOM was 2021. Meaning the car would have sat somewhere in the warehouse for 2 years!

I can't remember exactly, as it's been more than a year and a half, but if my memory didn't fail me, it should be around 230K thereabouts.

And to make matters worse, the model they are selling is the detuned version with just 148bhp on a 2L turbo engine!

PA really needs to be replaced.
