Yup. Take example the new Lexus LBX or the Honda Civic. Both cars are detuned to lower than 130bhp to fit into the CAT A COE. In today's digital world, any potential car buyer will research the car he's interested. They will compare the specs in Europe or Japan to the one available in Singapore. Watched dozens of overseas car reviews on youtube. The authorised dealers cannot smoke their way out for shortchanging buyers.

Alot of Car's Mfg hated Singapore's AD Business,1st,Volume not big,OMV must below a certain $$$,Equipments must have alot & lastly certain Low-End Models,needed to ''Detuned'' so it can be under Cat ''A" COE.🤬
