About the new Skoda Kodiaq

Now entering its second generation, Skoda’s bestselling seven-seater SUV builds on the style, space, functionality and quality of its predecessor to provide an even more compelling ride for the entire family today!

 

New Modern Solid design language

The new Kodiaq sports a more robust and sculptural design - for a more rugged appearance – but also plays up the style game in terms of exterior lighting.

An eye-catching light strip cuts through its new front grille, which is flanked by LED Matrix beam headlights, while its connected LED rear lights get animated indicators!

 

Interior: More spacious, functional and sustainable

Now 60mm longer than before, the new Kodiaq offers more space not just for all seven passengers on board but also their luggage. Its boot has grown from 270-litres to 340-litres with all the seats up, and can be expanded to 845 litres with the third row down.

Its completely redesigned interior includes new modern controls - including the touch- and haptic-operated operated Skoda Smart Dials, for customisable access to numerous vehicle functions. The Kodiaq also offers drivers a 12.9-inch freestanding infotainment touchscreen with a redesigned user interface.

Without losing its focus on style, practicality and quality, the new interior is also more sustainable than before! Textiles in cabin contain recycled polyester, while leather used on the seat trim covers has also been tanned with a more eco-friendly alternative: Residues from coffee bean production.

 

On the road: Safer and more efficient drives

The new Kodiaq is the first Skoda to get a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine using a 48-volt belt-driven starter-generator and a 48-volt lithium-ion battery. It also features latest-generation active cylinder management technology (ACT+). Energy recovered during braking can provide extra electric power boosts, or allow the car to coast with the engine completely switched off.

The new Kodiaq also comes with seven airbags - including a front centre airbag between the driver and front-seat passenger. Improved safety assistance features additionally include an enhanced Side Assist, Travel Assist (including Lane Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control), and a Driver Alert System. The latter helps to assess the driver’s potential level of fatigue and trigger visual and acoustic warnings where necessary.
