Some people time the COE like timing the stock market thinking after 5 years COE will come down 🤣

It is alright to time but be prepared for the worst, no loss to time it. I no money old man, only buy old car, so i time(guess) it🤣

I also no money, but more importantly want to benefit from Ah Gong’s previous screw ups,  thus need to time.

5 years make no sense whatsoever since it is surely going to be scrapped after that.

But ordinary people won't play with old Rolls.

Over the weekend, spark plugs faulty, need to be replaced. Came to know the issue when stopping at a traffic light, whole car was shaking badly and acceleration was weak and bad. Initial acceleration when moving off was also weak, like can feel engine wobbling.

Changed 4x spark plugs and 2x ignition coil. Was told no spare parts for ignition coil, had to get from 2 different suppliers (only got 1 each). Downtime 2 days.

Doesn't sound like a major fix, probably about time to!

Yes, it is a minor change, in terms of costs and downtime.

Suspect my valve body might be having some issues, sometimes rpm go up high, unable to change gear promptly, and can feel that there is a pull from the back of the car. Any recommendations for a transmission check?

A little off cycle during COE peak period, otherwise it s damn worth to renew  for 10 more years of COE

With the PHV and rentals messing up the COE with their massive purchases and renewals over the years, I am rather skeptical of the perceived COE cycle of it coming down due to bumper crop in the next few years.

They will likely be snapped up by them.

Yah this is the biggest uncertainty other than the invisible hands behind the quota (manipulation), i manallocation.

U referring to throttle body? A dirty one may cause this. Try checking and clean it first.
