Glad i spent over an hour watching the men mountain bike race...drama in lap 3 and last few laps of 8...wifey managed to watch throughout as well 😁

Defending champ GBR Pidcock was leading but dropped to 8th due to a flat front tyre...calmly let his mechanic changed it...then slowly caught up with the front herd bit by bit...local french favourite Koretzky took the lead from lap 3 all the way till the last lap where he exchanged the lead few times with Pidcock...a surprised pushed by Koretzky on one uphill which was Pidcock forte...took back the lead till the last 500m to the finishing line while in the woods, Pidcock made one last sprint on the left which caught the french by surprise who tried cut over the line to defend the lead...but Pidcock was too fast and both bikes brushed against each other...the french had to brake and regain balance becos there's a small tree in his path...local suporters booed the winner at the finishing line...but it's a legitimate overtaking maneuver by the brit...👍

10000m is warm up leading into the FM, the rest all small change, she no put inside her eyes.

Was it the same year SG was one of the 4 countries? 😂

Logically I also believe in one gold better than 4 podium finish, but there are many times she is the best in her country for as many events, and if they think she can handle, and she thinks she can handle, they have to put her there, and in a way what we call "squeeze" the athlete dry. 

I don't know if there is a limit to how many events an athlete can participate in, but so far in SG track & field, each athlete can only participate in 2 individual and 2 team events for all games and races.
