I stop buying nuggets from MCD after I tried the FreezePak nuggets from the supermarket. Taste much better and one pack can make 5 boxes of 6 pcs nuggets.

McDonald is not here to sell cheap or affordable meals, these are F&B outlets run by franchise entrepreneurs like KFC, Burger's King,  Mos Burgers, Popeyes Starbucks etc.

Second; McDonald real business is " REAL ESTATE ",  more than 145 McDonald restaurants islandwide

 

They are Fast foods not really meant for Senior citizens , More for the young and restless, No more Value-added, most of these Chicken, Burgers and Fish Chip chains foods are deep fried which are unhealthy, greasy and oily, I dare say only Burger King patties are flamed boiled to perfection, I can't speak about Mcd as I known about their quality and such  . . . Maybe the $5.00 meal of McChicken or Fillet-O-Fish can considered reasonable, however the meat portion has shrinked over the years . . . Laughable

not only Mac, earlier this week i went to Coffee Bean grab a drink with friends

we ordered a regular ice blended drink + hot latte

total $18+!! 

quite some time din step into Coffee Bean, the prices like jump 30% or more?

I have come to believe that Sporeans are inflation and recession proof.

No matter how expensive, property still chiong, COE still high, restaurants still packed.

Yah I stock the same Freezepak nuggets, and the popcorn chicken from SS house brand tasty bites. They both taste the same, if not better than from McD.

To be fair, I think is not just McD, it has happen to most F&B, some increase prices, but many choose to or force to keep the same price, and so something must make way, the quality or the quantity.  

The chicken rice stall I usually buy from, kept the same price, but now I need to add meat add rice, otherwise I cannot feel the box, and if I let go it might fly. The fish ball noodles stall increased price, but everything else remain the same. 

Maybe it's time to start a cook your own meal campaign.

I think I like to cook more than vast majority of people. Even then it's can be a  chore at times.

McDonald’s Singapore was using freezepak nuggets in the past. They probably changed to something else about 10years back? 
so far cheapest freezepak about $7.50 at the wet market.

Yah lah COE so high people still change new car and complain used car prices so high!

Condo prices so high but so many people still buy.

I really wish people will stop paying so high price for condos.

So I can upgrade and pay less!

Now I read so many people saying it.

All these people have turned into their parents.
