What irony when a petrol powered car has more savings over a hybrid car and even more over an EV.

All that extra tax goes to the govt. What for?Β

The disaster is already happening with regards mining and setting up of enormous giga-factories.

It will get far worse with your dead batteries. Most countries will not have the capability to recycle, so the shipping of batteries is another concern, they will not be 100% dead.

Put into bombs and send to Putin?Β

Β one reason for me to go EV is, if i had the money power and at the same time believe that EV will help save the climate warming, then i will go EV.

For Vantage's Peugeot e-2008, it has a lower servicing cost over 10 years vs the petrol 2008.

For C&C's KIA Niro EV, it has a higher servicing cost over 10 years vs the hybrid Niro.Β

May I know what kind of servicing C&C is doing to their KIA Niro EV?Β πŸ˜…

you guys really believe ppl like Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos really wanted to find a home in Mars for humans?

Maybe they wanted to find another planet to dump all those batteries, because in future everything that can move will/can run on electricity,Β  not only EVs.Β

if JB gets there and "chop" the place first, EM might have to "rent" from him later, not forgetting BYD as well.Β

imagine if we can dump all those batteries in Mars!Β [:p][laugh][laugh]

Not really.

I think we are 1 of the signatories of Paris Agreement.

I have no idea why we sign it.

EV is not environment friendly in Singapore context, we burn gas etc to get our power supply here, just a nobel name to pass the emission around.

Unless 80% of our electricity power can get by solar, hydro, wind, I do not think driving an EV is good for the environment, just a commercial trend to make you believe so.

I will fully support Toyota hydrogen powered vehicle ifΒ  it is fully workable and safe. We have abundance of Hydrogen, and the by products H2O is definitely what we need anyway.
