@Volvobrick I am way over that age to flirt. I am a proud father of 1 and expanding so no more sexy girls for me... just focusing on my family and my hobby 🙂 as a grown ass man, I am contended with my life

Then save the money on rims and treat your family to nice meal or staycation.. just change tyres will do if they are due for change.

@Volvobrick they only have first hand rims... and their tyres for first hand is so expensive like 3x times more

The tyres is the only contact to the road.

It's so much more important than the rims.

If running a marathon get the best running shoes and and any cheap singlet will do.

TS will have the most expensive singlet and cheapest shoes.

Agree with the rest that tyres are more important. Just allocate some cash to fresh tyres for safety. Hobby can come later. I have a friend who got into accidental coz he scrimp on tyres.

IMHO.
Sure will have those who save on tyres but give the rational that it is ok because he/she drives slowly. 🤔

Just sharing that I recently changed my 15" rim for my Honda Shuttle for $200 rims + $40 bolts with installation.

The prices are very low as they are 2nd hand rims but in pristine condition at a workshop at Kaki Bukit.

The rims look much nicer and easier to clean than the stock steel rims with plastic covers.

IMHO.
Easy to clean is important.  Now my rims,  a bit challenging because a lot of spokes.

No lah.
Mine Toyota - 10 spokes.
I think is half painted and half polished.
I am actually in dilemma whether if I can use those purple iron remover. 🤔
Also,  I think my Wheel Woolies may get stuck. 🤣

If the Alpina kind, I think very straight forward because I can use iron remover. those plastic barrel brush and face brush..
