Car delivery at PML

Recommended Posts

My car registered 13th, collected on 14th. Solar film, obu, ace3.0 all done before registration. Agent still asked for my permission to register and let me decide on collection date. PML unit.

Seems more like agent could have managed things betters.

Mine registered on monday, but SE can't confirm delivery date yet. He did say car die die must register by 30 Sept.  Hopefully it won't take another week to deliver

7 Sept: Order placed

18 Sept: COE secured

23 Sept: Paid up the remaining downpayment. Company pulls car from port and PDI started the same week

30 Sept: Car registered

So if not close to end of quarter, more likely can ask to delay registration until day before collection?

@epigram not just PML other ADs are like that. They need to clock sales for the month (likely to meet some target).

My previous car with another AD was like that. Registered last day of the mth and told me need 2 weeks to prepare. Bang table direct to management and cut down to 1 week.

Actually on the sales invoice for remaining payment, it is indicated that delivery is estimated 7 working days from registration.

So it’s not that PML didn’t indicate, just that estimated 7 working days could also be 2/3/4/5/6 working days

Actually I rather they do a good job than rush job. Does the 1 or 2 weeks make a difference? Many trade in their cars before 10 years is up anyway, some even at 5th year when warranty is up.
