I read on my WhatsApp that the weather was bad at that time and some flights diverted to avoid the the bad weather. The sia flight did not. I think the public needs to know whether this is true. I like Sia because they are usually very conservative and will fly around bad weather. Has this changed or the pilot bochap?

Unbelievable why the national press still wants to interview passengers on board the tragic flight. 🙄

Publish the HOT news to sensationalize and increase readership? Should just keep a low profile. This incident has already reflected very badly on SIA and its slogan "A Great Way to Fly".

Very standard for news outlets. BBC etc always do this for major events.

They should interview those 170+ other passengers how they managed to avoid injuries in this unfortunate incident.

Let's see when in car seat belt 100% on.

So why flying no need?

Same principle! They both always crash right?

Most people that got injured Superman straight into the air

and hit their head on the roof and dented the above luggage bins.

"Everyone seated and not wearing seatbelt was launched immediately into the ceiling, some people hit their heads on the baggage cabins overhead and dented it, they hit the places where lights and masks are and broke straight through it."

So must learn from another road user!

:D

The logic is SBS bus no belt… plane more high class and “smoother” so lagi don’t need belt….. belts are for sissy.

Quite obvious they were buckled up tight enough, or someone/something didn't land on them.
