Even if pocket deep enough, dont see us signing obvious choices... except for those who are available at a gd price.. e.g. Diaz, Gakpo and for Macca, 35M is a steal... for Caicedo.. not sure if we really that interested in him... yeah our final bid was slightly higher than Chelsea's but more like we are just helping Brighton make more money...

Nunez was our last big money worst kept secret buy after VVD and Alisson. Even the 60M Szoiboslai was done silently and took everyone by surprise.

I do hope that we look at those good free transfers from relegated teams... some of them are good enough...

liddat we operate at low levels leh. RM and Bayern wait for Free transfers from other top teams 😜

Patrik Berger was one of my favourite player..

A hardworking left sided midfielder who can strike a ball cleanly and quite accurately.

if I am the left back, i will be very happy to have him playing in front of me.. he will be tracking and pestering opponent down the left flank

Berger scored 28 league goals in 148 appearances.. not bad for a left sided midfielder most of the time...

Will be happy if Chiesa turns out like Berger... and not Smicer 😛

Berger was the ultimate flair player of the 90s. and so many women loves him. i not woman, but i love him too.

Smicer? he score in that game in 2005. useful player. but better for Country than Club

We can only afford free signings and 29-year-old Kimmich has principally played as a deep-sitting midfielder over the past few years at the Allianz Arena but has a wealth of experience at right-back, posting 11 goals and 44 assists across 127 appearances in the role.

Endowed with the technical and creative properties to thrive in the Premier League while also being "one of the best 1v1 defenders in the world," according to one football content creator. That is something Trent sadly does not specialise in.

Just nice as backup to Gravel Patch to give him a rest and as backup to Bradley for rest/injuries.

I like Liverpool business model because we don't borrow money to buy players like many other clubs.

All players we buy has to be financed from internal profits or players sales.

Our stated aim is "opportunistic" signings like 10 + 2.5m for Chiesa.

If someone offer them 20m then likely they would have sold to them and not us.

So we are always looking at the best players to improve our squad.

But we will be outbid most of the time and sadly we will not always get the players we want.

Al-Hilal has offered Nunez a salary of £400,000-per-week and want to pay us £70million for him.

Liverpool has rejected the offer and will only accept £85million.

Michael Edwards will be handling negotiations and not Richard Hughes.

Al-Hilal coach is Jorge Jesus who was Nunez coach at Benfica where he scored 48 goals and made 16 assist in just 85 games.

Nunez is at his prime age. Going to a lower league is definitely a step down and disastrous for his football career.

As seen by many pool players that went and regretted. Why? I have no idea.
