Akula Turbocharged January 9 Share January 9 Shocking decision by the Ref and VAR. Looks like us vs spurs will always have controversial moments. But the lads appear fatigued? Hopefully this mini slump will be over soon, we have a FA cup tie this weekend followed by an away game vs high flying Forest.

The scorer for Spurs should have been sent off earlier for 2nd yellow Stuart Attwell then should have sent off midfielder Lucas Bergvall with a second yellow for a clear foul on Tsimikas – but having avoided a decision and, with the left-back off the pitch, the Swede promptly scored the winner. Paul Tierney on VAR. 1

Paul Tierney on VAR. On this instance cannot blame var. Only when on field referee issued an infringement. Then VAR can jump in to aide referee on the right colour of card. Referee didn't issue the second yellow. Var cannot override the onfield referee decision.

Hamburger Hypersonic January 9 Share January 9 Konate is to be blamed for the conceded goal. Bullied by Solanke in and out. konate is not fully match fit yet. Mentally and physically.

On hindsight should sub useless Jones with elliot. Keep Ryan and mcca I'm midfield. Retain endo in defence. He has been doing well since the first half.

Last season he had a similar bad spell, which prompted many to suggest he should move to an inverted full back role. And to be fair, he was attacked by both Fernades, Dalot and Garnacho (later on). Too much for a full back. n that y i prefer Gomez to Konate
mersaylee Hypersonic January 9 Share January 9 Konate used to be strong and reliable...lately becuming like clumsy lukaku liddat...😅 Endo and gravenbeg were slow to cover the defence right after they aided an earlier attack... Both sides got chances...spur simply capitalised on one...im sure pools will prevail in the return leg at home...

Raymondism Twincharged January 10 Share January 10 1-0 isnt that bad a result.. afterall there arent really weak teams in EPL.. Morton got injured and now we have one less rotation midfielder to start in FA cup.. To be fair, Slot's team usually doesnt concede in the second half... let alone so late... if not for this goal, a draw aint that bad a result... Lets look to the next game... as for second leg, its up to the players to decide if they want a medal... the colour of the medal will be decided in the final if we can beat spurs by two goals in the return leg... Like what Stevie said, we go again...
Atrecord Supersonic January 10 Share January 10 Against Spurs always got injustice... wait, not only against them... why like that... so many pple dun like pool... Anyway, i watched first half, then gave up and went sleep, thought still looked like can win. Didn't know would end up losing. Have to buck up and go back to winning ways faster rather than slower. and Quansah had to come off early. lucky said it's due to illness and not injury. When is Gomez coming back? our defence is short of option, esp if TAA is going to be crap. ↡ Advertisement
