Honestly, it doesn't make sense for TAA to leave in January, especially since Liverpool is currently one of the strongest title contenders. If he walks away now, the trophy is there for him to lose. Forget the title he won during the Covid season—this is a much more significant opportunity. Unless TAA is solely motivated by money, in which case, best of luck to him.

how much did RM pay for eden hazard and how long before his contract with chelsea was going to end?

TAA younger, so if RM now is prepared to pay as much, then sell lor... 

can sell with a clause to say he will continue playing for pool this season until last match before he goes?

we all think this way, looking objectively.

but it's his pocket... so he might decide otherwise?

SG almost left, but stayed with the club he loved after he was convinced the team can win - but sigh... he missed out on the league title.

hope TAA will stay but ultimately it's his decision.

Footballers have a short and unsecured career lo , 1 freak tackle or fall , whole career can be gone .... so dun think anyone should begrudge any players if there is any chance for them to set themselves up for life lo .. 

Imagine got other company willing to double or maybe triple your salary with huge sign on bonus ... who will reject lo ...

RM will not have to pay a cent to liverpool if TAA joins them in the summer lo ... so why would they pay now to buy with a clause ? 

Unless they scared that liverpool play hardball and sell TAA to another club  this Jan ...

yup, if they really die die want a RB with such a unique skill set - can cross wonder balls anywhere in the field - and scared kena potong jalan'ed by other clubs who might share this unique taste... then got chance lah...

Rm won't bid at such price if they can get him for free in 6 months. 

RM, at the same time are desperate for reinforcements in the defence. They got left back playing right back now. CD a young kid. Champion league way way off for the top 8. Can RM afford to wait till end of season?

TAA, he has been at the club since 6yo. Won all there is to win for Liverpool at club level. To go on free come end of season he is likely to draw 500/600k per week. Go now might lose out on this season Premier league title or champion league tile. By the way, endo/darwin won't leave as well. No player would want to leave now. 

Liverpool fc, hands are tight. Nothing they can do now. We can't match RM wage structure. Once the wage structure is breach, it would be a downward spiral for the club. Our owners aren't chelsea, city or forest. We can only sell to buy. The best outcome is to tie down 2 out of the 3. End of season with a Premier league title.
