Now is not a good time to play Everton.

Everton won 4 - 0 in their last match.

I think not likely for Endo to play CB because of his smaller-built.  Pool seems to have preference for bigger-built player as CB. Probably why Quansah ended up playing as RB and Gomez as CB in the last match.

Well Slot needs to manage minutes for the backline. Gomez is versatile and can rotate at RB or LB. Since Quansah can play at RB, wouldn't it be good if we can let Endo fill in at CB. We just need one of the injured trio to be fit and our backline will have more breathing space.

Not only pool...i tink all epl teams have tall players as cb...there's no other way when many number 9 in the league are very tall

Gomez and Quansah might fill in at RB or LB. We can reshuffle during corners to mark those tall no. 9s... honestly the main threat during set pièces often come from opponents' CB rather than centre forward

Salah will continue to earn over £400,000 a week.

Now, with the length of the contract sorted, the worth of the entire two year deal is more than £41.6million.

The uncertainty surrounding Mo Salah's future at Liverpool has been a constant talking point throughout this season at Anfield, but both parties have finally reached an agreement

Salah wanted 3 years. Fsg give 1 year. So eventually meet in the middle 2 years.

What took them so long!

Should be VVD next...my guess also 2 years.

Edwards and team probably couldn't find a hood enough replacement at 41.7mil :D and was convinced that Salah has learnt how to do it like Messi... disappear for part of the game and popped up to score and assist at the crucial moment. Unlike Klopp's team, Slot's team usually need to score 2 goals to win.. (I know we scored three against Newcastle and did not win)

Chiesa, hope he gets accustomed to EPL, can be the 1st back up (he can play across the front 3 like Jota). Elliot can also fill in from time to time if not required at no. 10. Doak is doing well and might be in the 1st team next year. Kaide Gordon is another hopeful candidate.. if Salah can still do enough for us in the next 2 seasons, we can look forward to the likes of Doak taking over.

Saw articles saying VVD rejected contract offer.  He wanted 2 years but was offered 1+1

Yes. Read vvd rejected the offer. Not sure the contract details though..

Between vvd and salah definitely salah has higher resell value than vvd. Middle East.

Imo I would let vvd go and promote TAA to captain as a lure for him to sign the contract extension.

TAA no doubt is the easiest pick to renew as he will have better resale value though am not sure he is captain quality and really important to Slot's set up. However, VVD was the most likely to sign amongst the three. Salah is likely to ask for the highest wages though whiles he is now compared to Thierry Henry.

I just don't want to go back to Souness era where we are stuck with many expensive aging players.

Ok la ,what to do....he already took off his shirt to show a ripped body and seems like scoring and assisting for fun...

Just hope he doesn't stop his current good form after he signed.
