The wastefulness in front of to goal might just bite us in other games. Next up, vs Newcastle and then the Merseyside derby. I believe both games are away….. YNWA ManU beat Everton 4 : 0 Liverpool beat ManU 3 : 0 So Liverpool should beat Everton 7 : 0 2

No decent manager will respond to the crowd in such a manner. His records speak for themselves so no need to incite further. It feels like a change of the season of the squad at Cityy and they would have to rebuild the team within the next 2.5 years under Pep's contracts. This current team is probably past their prime so there needs to be a significant rebuilt.

Daryllim1969 3rd Gear December 3, 2024 Share December 3, 2024 @Maxus-MIFA9 I am more worried when LFC face the lower teams. Against the bigger teams, we usually do well. Question is our performance against the smaller teams is not very consistent. Look at this season, our only lost is against Forest while we won only narrowly against the team in the bottom of the league. Against the big six, so far, we won 2-1 against Chelsea, drew 2-2 with Arsenal, won 3-0 against Man United and 2-0 against City. Only top 6 team yet to play is Tottenham.
Fooblack Supercharged December 3, 2024 Share December 3, 2024 any away games in this league are not easy so there is always risks of banana skin. Newcastle isn't playing well this season but the home ground advantage will be a significant boost. Merseyside derbies... are where the form book counts for nothing.. only pure passion and energy will be the difference maker.

I tink can beat spurs easily...they like to attack...let them be and hold them until they tired out...beat them on counter when they only have one speedy van to defend against speedy trio in Red...😁

The Bayer Leverkusen star – ranked at no.3 in FourFourTwo's list of the best right-backs in the world right now – enjoyed the season of his life last term, winning the Double with Bayer Leverkusen as the flying right wing-back in Xabi Alonso's 3-4-3. With interest said to be high in the star, however, he appears to have chosen to move back to England – after spending much of his life on British shores, following time in Manchester City's academy and playing for Celtic. Class as home grown player because of his time at City. Honestly, if TAA wants to go, sell him in January for 20M. Why pay a right back for more than 200Kpw? I know he can swing those beautiful long ball but why isn't he playing in midfield? Have we ever suffer a big loss in form whenever he got injured in the past few years? If not wrong, we always seemed to play better, defend better when he got injured. If you are the opponent's left winger and u get to choose whether to face Gomez, Bradley or TAA, I think the choice is clear. TAA pushing into midfield as a second no. 6 makes sense for Klopp's 4-3-3. Now we play with 2 no. 6s, our right back does not need to fill in at the base of the midfield. Either you defend or go overlap and join the attack. Some bros might think we will miss his wonderful passing once he is gone.. yes we will, to a certain extent. But he gets the ball very often in the midfield.. how about Macca and Gravenberch getting more chances to play those long passes? Am sure they can spray those passes if they want but I think they prefers to play a safe pass in midfield unless there is a clear chance... Forest was playing well at the beginning of the league. They were third at one time... I remember the acid test was going to Old Trafford for our 3rd league game.. after beating them 3-0, it was said that Man U is no longer a top team... then we lost 1-0 to Forest... after winning the next 4 league games, we were saying we need to play Chelsea and Arsenal before we can prove that we are a serious contender... after beating Chelsea 2-1 and keeping Arsenal to a draw, people say the real test is playing Man City in December... now we say Man City is sub par. The gap between us and no. 2 is wider than the gap between no. 2 and 13 (if not wrong). I only worry about injuries... time to inject some young blood... for rotation... will we see Morton having some minutes? We are left with 5 defenders to cover 4 positions in the back line.. now the most important defender (after VVD) is Gomez... as he can play across the back line... luckily Newcastle pull out of the deal to swop Gomez with Gordon coming back to Mersey side. Wonder if Gravenberch,Macca and Szoboszlai can play in CB like Hendo and Fabinho... ↡ Advertisement
