I only don't understand why need to do it twice, same after same, otherwise could be even faster.

Huh twice?

Facial recognition don't need passport....

Just walked to the gantry... opens and walk through... Faster than MRT gantry which still need to tap card.

But only available at airport for now.

Walk up to the gate, get facial'd, walk through the first gate, get facial'd again, walk out.

I've already done it loads of times, including the week the rolled it out for locals first, but never understood why I need to be facial'd twice.

Oh that's what you meant. 😅

Think it's same sequence with passport to open gantry, then look into screen for 2nd gantry. 

Probably a bit like authentication?

First AI let you thru and second AI catches any mistakes.

Facial recognition is not 100%.

I always get mistaken for someone rich and famous

but unfortunately its not me.
