Despite the introduction of EVs we haven’t seen a huge increase in the incidence of inadvertent acceleration type accidents… a good sign 👍

Due to the fact that boomers are mostly involved w SUA and boomers wun get EV… that’s part of the reason.

 

also I think most EV would have those advanced preventive collision tech embed, to mitigate such risks

If you said like this,the $300,000 to $400,000 SUV should 1 time hit it harder until the Van off the Road,into the Kerb or Drain.

Car so expensive can’t even overtake a 烂 van? Then the driver should just sell the car and buy a 烂van too to fight like for like. Maybe not so xia suay.

Exactly. People who don't drive their own vehicles, will have zero accountability to the vehicle. These include rented cars, taxi, lorries, vans, etc. I always watch out for these on the road.
