Dunno about motorcyclist reaction but to encounter kuku driver is damn suay.

actually what did the driver did wrong ?  all traffic stop and he slowly turn into the hort park, can see he brake as soon as he see the motor, imo  it is the idiotic motorcyclist asking for trouble, and he had his wish granted.

Ok, then I ask you, how to deter? Will poodles or LTA follow up on the case if videos capturing the cyclist not stopping and cycling across the crossing are submitted to them?

My point is, if the authorities don't follow up and enforce the law, the law is as good as useless. Errant cyclists and PMD/PMA users can just do whatever they want because they know even if they are breaking the law, nobody will catch them :D

We have a lot of "useless" laws by your definition. No harm adding one more.

I don't know what merc driver could have done here, this is only place to access the park unless you drive further and take a UTurn (but this is legit turn for entry).
All traffic is standing still except these BS riders who want to squeeze in every corner and it is other responsibility to fly their drone to see if a motorcyclist is dashing or not.

It's the blind junction technique.

He has to inch his way across.

I had a very good instructor that took me to a right turn junction where the corner house had a brick wall. Zero visibility.

So I had to move out inch by inch until I can see both sides clear and then turn.

:D

I don't think any instructor in SG has ever taught the blind junction technique.

Second thing no one in SG is taught is the 2 parallel lines.

If they are parallel you can drive fast.

When the 2 lines cross you have to slow down.

People have never heard of the 2 parallel lines.

Simply it the 2 kerbs.

It's ok if people still don't get it.

:D

I would have moved slowly, but regardless how slow you was moving motorcycles was coming way too fast knowing entire traffic is stand still.
Unless you wanted driver to extend his neck to check blind spot

This video makes Merc in a worst position.

It should stop behind the red car.

From thereon, it can slow move.

Even tio bang, it has exercise all precaution necessary (other than waiting for the q to clear).

Driver should not drive into the 3rd lane if he cannot see the all clear  ... its as simple as that ...

as much as i feel that the motorcyclist should not ride at such a speed , its the driver responsibility to ensure its all safe and clear lo ... If you cannot see , then stop and wait until you have a clear view .

So he should have waited here?

Anyone who is sitting and analyzing from their couch can gauge the time biker appear in frame to car in less than 1 second. He could be coming fast and maybe still not visible even he stopped at the spot as shown in screen.

I have visited this place numerous time and only way to cross this area is when traffic is stopped depending on the time of the day, but again take what i am saying at 0.1 cent value.

Basically it's like a wedding night with a virgin.

Move one inch check clear move one more inch.

Just for the driver to clear the blind spot.

Once clear don't dilly dally and move swiftly to clear the turn.

A good driver should try to make it as painless for the rider as much as possible.

Regardless who is at fault, motorcyclist and car driver both are fed.
Lets say car driver stopped at 1st picture and nothing in view as soon he would have moved motorcyclist would be already there, in last two other pictures timing is less than 1 sec.
