Yah, I see 2022 on the tyre itself.

I changed new tyres only in Jan 2024, and the tyres' mfd is mid 2022. No scared.

In some 3rd World Countries..even "New" 7-8 Years Tyres still selling, because alot are from Singapore...Tyre Agents cannot sell here & exported them cheaply to these 3rd World Countries...Anyway Car Owners there...many don't know the Tyre's Mfg Date can affect the Tyres...

I will not buy earlier than Jan 2023.

Tyre is the only contact btw road and car.

this tayar sure worth the money

look at the amount of rubber you get, comparing to a ultra low profile tayar

You can ''Jack'' up your Mercedes Benz Saloon to become a SUV & Fit High Profile Tyres...

I have the opposite experience w Falken. Now using fk510 MIJ. The last time I used a Falken was 20y back thought they would have improved but stil the same old hard and noisy tyres.

I prefer tyres with hard sidewall. Tyre Noise is just secondary to me. [how quiet the tyre is, but if cabin insulation cui, still will hear the tyre noise]

Wet weather grip is my most important factor. Took Falken that time cos AE51 was sold out.

I can see majority of the cars on the road have a Tourador sticker on their back windscreen! 😁 Looks awful! HAHA

The sticker serves a purpose. It's to warn other drivers to keep a distance away.

Falken can't be as bad as Tourador.

Falken's Grip is acceptable..but Noise Level too high.

Tyre noise is also dependent on the road surface.

Not really, also depends Tread Pattern & Compound, you take those Semi-Slick Racing Track Tyres, even super smooth Surface also noisy.

Hi folks. Is it too early to replace my 2 year old tyre? This was from the previous owner of my car that was fitted with a Yokohama BluEarth-Es ES3. It kinda still look OK and have grip even in wet road but it is still a 2yr old tyre so kinda bugs me.

Any thoughts if I need to replace it soon? I'n considering in moving up to 17" rims also if I'm going to replace.

You know, if your tire's two years old but still seems solid, handling all sorts of roads like a champ, even in the rain, I'd say hold off on rushing to replace it just because of its age. Tires can often hold up pretty darn well past that two-year mark, especially if they still look good without any big cracks or worn-out treads.

yup.

If your tyres go over different surface some time quiet some time loud, its the road issue.

if your tyres go whatever type of road also loud, no need think liao, your tyre is noisy😁
