Ok lah, already better looking than its larger size sibling (Stepwgn) and also marginally more handsome than the Toyota Sienta.

Dual airbags are for Freed carried by ADs across SEA. JDM Freed come with side and curtain airbags (total of 6)for some variants, since the first gen model (launched in 2008).

Have to depend on which variant PI brought in. The base model usually has lesser airbags.

Its not pretty but neither is it ugly IMO. It looks robust and chunky, and looks miles better than the Toyota equivalent lah.

i read that Honda's new hybrid system is quite novel, a halfway house between the Toyota and Nissan systems. In town conditions, the ICE is the generator to recharge the battery that powers the electric motor, and is not connected to the driving wheels, just like a Nissan ePower. At cruising speed, the engine is then directly connected to the driving wheels on a 1:1 basis, supplemented by the electric motors. It works well in UK spec Civic and ZRV.

Hearsay it works well for 2L hybrid especially during highway cruising.

Yeah the 2L does 7+sec sprint times, and 20+km/l FC, and cruises very well. In sports mode it simulates engine upshifts with effective sound effects. 

Haven't read anything about the 1.5L though.

@Tohto they are thinking our cars are the most reliable, the looks don’t matter at all

I will take toyota or Mazda anytime when it comes to Japanese cars. Who buys honda nowadays except retirees or small business owners(delivery).

 

I can only say some of these cars are suitable for Japan small roads, speed of less than 70km/hr. Those who worked in accident replated departments will tell you most of the deaths in car accidents are in small Japanese cars. Singaporeans are not gracious enough alike the Japs.

I thought Altis are the retirees or ah pek car? When did it change to Honda LOL......

Ha, now Altis driven by a lot from PH company called I think Lumina. Most of they drove like mad men.

It won't be regarded as a thing of beauty, but very functional and with the hybrid engine that is already used in the Jazz, this could be zippy enough whilst being very economical to run..
