Since no one started this EV MPV which was newly introduced to the market last year (2023).

MIFA 9 comes under 2 brands in Singapore.

Maxus under C&C and MG under Trans Eurokars.

Some may wonder what is MG ?  It's Morris Garage

I booked one unit during last month's Car Expo at the Singapore Expo and expect to collect my ride around the end of June or the middle of July. [drivingcar]

Depending on the shipment from China.

Looking forward to my new ride. [bounce2][bounce2][bounce2]

The size of MIFA 9 is bigger than Alphard but smaller in height of which, most HDB car parks of 1.9m can enter.

Can safely say 85% of car parks can enter. Except Queensway Shopping centre (1.8).

This vehicle :

Height : 1.84m

Length : 5.3m

Width : 2.0m

Weight : near 2.5 tons

Can do part time airport to JB and make some extra money on the side.

Just checked that both immigration checkpoints (Tuas & Woodlands) clearance at the boots are very narrow. May need some skills to drive through it because of the 2.0m wide body of MIFA 9  :wut:

But with the 360-degree all-round camera view that comes with the vehicle, one can slowly glide through it. :we-all-gonna-die:

SAIC (Shanghai Automobile Industries Corporation) brought over MG. :wut:

SAIC also owns many other brands of vehicles in China.

In Australia and New Zealand, MIFA 9 comes under the brand name LDV

Bigger? So no problem entering those carpark with tight and narrow ramp and parking lots? 😅

So this car has two different AD selling? C&C and MG?

I bought this vehicle due to my comparison between the Toyota Alphard and Vellfire. [sly]

First in mind is the cost of Toyota against Maxus at the time when I booked the vehicle.

At that time, Alphard Hybrid was $368k against MIFA 9 EV at $254k. A mere saving of $114K

Size-wise, bigger than Alphard but shorter in height (1.84m). Even the wheelbase is 3.2m which is longer than Alphard.

Last COE results (April), heard both vehicle prices have increased by 8 ~ 10k. [sweatdrop]

With more and more EV charging points increasing in SG, no worries of no place to charge your vehicle.

The latest news was that many BlueSG lots at MSCP had been converted to charging points for other EV vehicles also and not only BlueSG vehicles. [smash]

All specifications are the same.

For both the Luxury and Premium versions.

The premium version has a massage function in center-row seats and a rear view mirror in the form of camera view. Cannot see back-seated passengers.  But you have to pay an additional $20k for the Premium version.

I won't be paying an extra $20k for the massage function where you only drive for maybe 1 hour or so a day. [cool]

If traveling long distances, only passengers get the comfort of the massage. :secret-laugh:
