Just nice for me, I was looking to replace a dead Samsung washer. Not worth repairing.

All HDB households to get S$300 in Climate Vouchers

The vouchers will be valid from Apr 15 this year until the end of December 2027

SINGAPORE: Families living in Housing Board (HDB) flats will receive S$300 (US$223) in Climate Vouchers to purchase more efficient appliances, said Senior Minister of State for Sustainability and the Environment Amy Khor on Monday (Mar 4).

The vouchers are part of the enhanced Climate Friendly Households Programme and come after an initial set of vouchers was given to households in smaller flats.

"With these enhancements, we hope to incentivise more households to choose resource-efficient options from the outset, or when their appliances and fittings are due for replacement," Dr Khor said in parliament during her ministry's budget debate.

The new e-vouchers will be available to all 1.1 million HDB households from Apr 15 this year until Dec 31, 2027. They will come in a mix of denominations and can be used to buy 10 types of energy- and water-efficient household products.

New products – such as direct current fans, washing machines, air-conditioners and heat pump water heaters – have been added to the mix.

I'm looking at 4 ticks washer. I don't really care about the ticks, but since it's the way to get $300 voucher.

If I can get a $500 washer, pay only $200, don't really matter if it last longer or not. 😁

Taps and mixers are a bit ridiculous.

They put a very restrictive washer inside, and easily called it 3 ticks.

You buy one and remove/replace the washer and it bcums 1 tick 😁

I think can save more buying from Taobao. Ppl in sg buy all of the above appliances from there lo. It is so cheap it is BATA, buy and throw away kind.

At first we were shocked to see ppl buying fridges and aircond from TB but after looking at the prices it is no wonder. Ppl save a lot more than S$300.

Yeah, most ppl will end up removing the restrictive washers in the piping and LPPL. Dont bother.

Buy fridge and aircon from Taobao?? These are very heavy items!😗

The shipping prices how?   Have to wait many weeks? And if doesn't work/damage upon receive, have to ship it back?

Also, how about the electrical safety? Conform to SG electrical safety standard?

"HDB households consisting of Singaporeans and permanent residents can claim their Climate Vouchers online at RedeemSG with their Singpass accounts from Apr 15."

They give money to PR staying in HDB but not to citizens staying in a mickey house condo?  What about HDB dwellers with 2 private properties, also entitled?

I know it is election year but G should really stop giving money away indiscriminately. Upping GST to help the poor, maybe I can support, although the double-digit inflation it caused is many times the 2% hike. With such indiscriminate spendings, I am finding it hard to support their policy these days.

Actually last time I bought washing machine I think from Courts I flash them Shopee or Lazada price they instantly match and then we still get mall points so was quite worth it

Now harvey norman also have such scheme that if you find the same product from elsewhere cheaper, they would instantly match or refund the excess something like that.
