@thebestbees  i guess to most comfort in the car is more important? cant really do much with all that power when traffic is congested and roads are filled with traffic cameras and speed limit on roads is 60-90kmph 😂

To each their own.  Everyone has different priorities - doesn't mean anyone is wrong.

In any case, spoke to SA and apparently they've booked 40 to 50 Santa Fe's already.  Roughly a 50% take up rate. Pretty impressive.

@Handytouch No clue. I would rather have the 6 seater captain seats instead of 7. If you've ever sat in a car with captain seats, u'll know why. Plus the Santa Fe 6 seater captain seats are electronically powered in other countries.

@Fellows 1. Nope. No word on fingerprint login from my SE. Bluelink, is not mentioned as well. These 2 should be related.

2. Yes. UV-C Sanitization Tray is available on Calligraphy model only. Base model will not have it.

3. Yes. RSPA (Remote Smart Parking Assist) is available on Calligraphy model only. Base model will not have it.

does anyone know why agent dont bring in 6 seater option with captain seat?

Because the Palisade is their 7 seater variant with 2 captains chairs.  The Santa Fe is priced pretty similar to the Palisade.  The more variants of the Santa Fe that the Komoco brings, the higher the cost due to homologation.

Besides the Palisade isn't a volume seller for Komoco and I suspect that the Santa Fe won't be either after the initial interest.

I think the fingerprint login is tied to digital key, which is also tied to Bluelink.

Sadly Kia and Hyundai don’t always bring in smart connectivity features full suite for Singapore market like digital Keys, remote Smart with park assist, car-phone link via cellular network. Ours is always not here, not there compared to other region.

What's the expected fuel consumption for the hybrid Santa Fe?

Hyundai Singapore claims a fuel consumption figure of 14.5km/L, which is far from shabby for a seven-seater SUV.

Drove the Hyundai santa fe 2.5T 7 seaters in Korea back in Feb 2024 this year for about 2k+ km. Very powerful car and very spacious. The adaptive cruise control is a must switch on tech during long road trip. Helps in braking and keep a distance to the car in front of you. The system probably react faster than driver too in term of braking reaction time when the car in front jam brake.

Fuel consumption is around 9km+/L in city drive and around 11km+/L for long road trip.

In Korea, they can mix & match the spec so the one I drove doesn't have the following:
1) 360 camera
2) Auto lane change
3) RSPA (Remote Smart Parking Assist)
4) Sun roof
5) UV-C Sanitization Tray

But it does have
1) Dual wireless charging
2) Fingerprint login (with Bluelink)

The wireless carplay is quite seamless but one thing that is buggy is when I use the naver map in Korea, it will hang sometimes (the navigation will just stop moving) at a point or a road junction. Not sure if google map/waze will hang when using in Singapore or not.

1 thing to take note for those who purchased the car. Please check if the bonnet cable is loose. The Santa Fe I drove can't open engine bonnet and it's a new 4-5 months old car that time. Turn out the bonnet cable got issue (loose or something). waste time to go service center to get it fixed.
