Especially through small town. Not the no speed limit Autobahn.

Uluwatu06 2nd Gear April 1 Share April 1 (edited) I have done Croatia cross over to Bosnia (Zagreb Airport - Split - Mostar - Sarajevo and back) using a rental car. Will need all the necessary documents at border. Check with rental company first if it allows cross-border driving. This drive was very beautiful. I have done Frankfurt to Munich too but quite boring. Autobahn nothing great, really. Edited April 1 by Uluwatu06

shawn207 2nd Gear April 2 Share April 2 (edited) @denser have driven from Italy to France and back, as well as Italy to Switzerland and Liechtenstein and back. No issues and not all borders are manned if countries are part of the Schengen Agreement (i.e. u just pass through a tunnel and you see a sign and you are in the next country already). For Swiss and Austria you need a vignette sticker to drive on their highways, these can be purchased from the petrol station but you must be careful that you have the sticker before going on the highways. Usually the car rental company insurance covers driving in Western Europe countries, I know certain models of cars that are more expensive they may not allow you to drive to Eastern Europe. Can check with your rental company on the restrictions. Edited April 2 by shawn207

Agree. When I drove to KL, there are so many Singaporean cars tailgating me, egging to to increase my speed. I wonder what they are trying to prove.
