I choose altis over mazda 3 mainly due to mazda 3 interior too tight liao. Altis more spacious. I like cars which is spacious and roomy. But if i choose the design, i would pick mazda 3 than altis.

Yup, space is one of the key reasons I would choose Altis over Mazda 3 as well.. we family man have to prioritize comfort for the family.. if I was young and single then maybe will pick Mazda 3 for the looks.

Altis recently facelifted. It's a better buy. Made in Thailand is not an issue.

Obviously, COE is still high. So any new car isn't cheap. Do your own calculus before deciding to buy.

I drove Altis and Mazda 3 b4... personally, interior M3 beats Altis n I preferred the ext. look of M3.

Which one can drive to jb then can eat or shop in peace? Which one is a stronger magnet 🧲 for potential theft🤣

While I would pick Altis over Mazda 3, the more tricky choice would be whether to pick a EV like atto3 over the Altis.. atto3 cheaper somemore

For me whether single or family man, i still like the interior is roomy and spacious. This is why i would never like sports car. 😂

Exterior only the front grill look changed..

 

This facelift launched in Sep 2023 for Singapore. Until today, the toyota AD brochure still have the "NEW" label on it.. so i guess new model wont come so soon (at least in 2024)

Means not a wise choice to buy EV car. But if you buy a ICE car now, don't know few years down the road, will there be value for your ICE car when sell, due to by then maybe ICE car already not common and popular, as EVs car will be the only car available in the market.

Usually if look at past gen altis, often they would change quite a bit on the exterior as well, like the rims. But wonder why this altis they only changed the front grill.

I guess new model should come end 2024 or in 2025. Cause by end of 2024, the current model already 5 year old.

Correct me if I am wrong... The EV resale prices do not seem rosy, base on the price competition from MIC EVs, worry of battery degradation... If i am in market for EV, why will I pay more for a used one when the newer model has longer runway and warranty?

I think resale price for ICE would hold better than EVs.. cos EVs technology is improving very fast, people will prefer to buy new ones..

Merc price list is fixed. At the most u can bargain for service credit and OT.

Not sure if this round they are giving 10k OT and 6k service credit - that was the carrot offered during motorshow period.

That applies mostly to China brand EV.

MIC EV uses LFP battery rather than NMC battery.

LFP battery major degradation starts from 300k km.

What you should worry is total loss after accident.

This is especially cars with <$5k at 10 yrs.
