Interior look spartan but the more than ample space for 5 and advance driving and safety features make up for it. I know OMV and PARF are relatively low, but you know price is negotiable right? Potential buyer, go 敢敢开价.

The attention to details is evidence, e.g. the twin wireless charging pad come with ventilation vent to keep your phone cool while doing high speed charging, reducing the risk of batteries damaged by the built up heat.

I thought I have confirmation bias, 'cos I see at least 1 Xpeng every time I am on the road, and by now, I have seen all 5 colours available here.

Upon reading your post and the news, I did a quick check on LTA's monthly vehicle registration data and all I can say is Premium may have strike the jackpot with the Xpeng.

Sales Figures of Chinese BEV SUV (added Tesla - used to be best selling BEV here, and Volvo - cousins of Smart & Zeekr, for the sake of comparison)

Accompanied my colleague to check out the G6 yesterday evening, after an off-site meeting. All tables were occupied and all test drive cars were taken. At least 2 were signing the papers by the time we left the showroom. My colleague was very impressed with its build quality and suite of advance features. All are good for me except the zero button cockpit, which make simple task becomes extremely difficult.:beaten:

The lounge at the basement is quite cosy and with nice coffee and pastries.

I test drove the Long Range AWD model. The smart parking really quite zai. Far more advanced than any other in the market.

For the pricing I'm not surprised it's selling quite well.

Xpeng was selling their cars over Friday and Saturday at Vivocity. Loads of people checking out the cars, or signing papers.
[laugh]

I not really shopping for these cars but I suspect will change when juniper is released for model Y.

Cos in Malaysia, the xpeng is cheaper just outright. Here seems like g6 is even on paper more pricey (due to the AD premium and Tesla owning the whole chain) but just more features than model Y?

price/spec comparable to Benz and BMW, would conti geek consider G6 - given the fact they yet to survive one generation, and relibility and parts availability yet to know?

But it's nowhere near same price...225k vs ix3 335k/i5 512k (lol)/EQB 300k/EQE 410k

G6 facelift coming (the metal grey unit)...

Honestly, I can't see much changes in front (and side) other than the new rim and the elimination of black insert on the fender. At the rear, the addition of a raise boot lid and reshaped bumper make the car look a little less rounded and sportier, imo. The orange unit below is the current model available in Singapore.

I donno if it is the lightings but the new back looks so much better with the new lines. It actually looks real good in pic. Hope it looks good in real. The current looks too rounded.
