Stop dreaming about this coming to Singapore.

J250 aka Prado was launched in Japan with.

1. 2.8L diesel from Hilux.

2. 2.7L petrol from Fortuner.

I've no experience buying from PI so just in case that's the only source, is it true that you can't change the menu from Jap to English for Toyotas / Hondas? Thanks

Similar to my prediction

Mechanically, there is talk of the Hilux's turbodiesel engine, a 2.8-litre four-cylinder block with light hybridisation, but it seems strange that a compact model would be powered by such a large engine.

We will not get it in Sg

2.7l engine hmm... let's hope a smaller engine or hybrid appears and make it an officially available car instead of a PI

With a smaller engine it will be damn heavy and under power.

Those I seen on Aussie road with 3L TDI is the best.

Since the start of the thread, I predicted that Toyota will use 2.8L diesel for this car.

Just look at J250 Prado & J76 OG LC.

i like the smaller size...the original cruizer is just too big for our parking space (unless is landed). If this comes in via AD, should be nice...maybe will need to extend my retirement.......this really caught my eye...

PI bring in J250 Prado diesel. I posted previously

The difference in size may not be that much if FJ Cruiser is used as benchmark.

Length

J300: 4,985mm
J250: 4,925mm

FJ: 4,635mm

Width

J300: 1,990mm
J250: 1,980mm

FJ: 1,905mm
