Siao langs coming out..

I ever been in a toilet and a man dressed nicely as a woman came in too... gave me a fright that I entered the wrong toilet,  but no big deal,  the aunties cleaners also come in too mah.

But if a man like that enters the ladies toilet when my girl is inside..  . I'm not sure I can accept.🤔

The idea is to make china products expensive and US companies that buy china products and pays the tariffs and re-sell them in the US will have to mark up the prices. In theory, this makes china imports less competitive in terms of pricing compared to equivalent domestic US-made products.

Only problem is, China products starts out at a very low price due to low production costs, so slapping tariffs on them aren't going to make them too uncompetitive. Maybe not as cheap as before, but still a bargain.

Also, US domestic production just can't keep up with the variety of stuff that china produces. Some things, the american public LL still have to buy from china - just like MAGA caps are going to get more expensive! [laugh]

End of the day, USA just have to pay more for everything. Like what we are doing to our cars compare to Malaysia 😆

The blessing is, we are likely to get cheaper products because they will buy less and China still need to sell them.

I dont think US, EU, or any other major economic entity really has a choice. China is now in a race to the bottom to get employment for its people. It cant just let millions be retrenched, too politically dangerous. Its not playing by the established norms.

If others dont do something, the massive over capacity of china will over whelm them and their own industries. Like a drug dealer selling cheap drugs.... short term high for users, long term pain.

In practice, itll probably be targetted tariffs, just like singapore wrt FT. Open leg and employers will be VERY happy to get tonnes of cheap PRC degree holders but we ... the voters... demand restrictions and levies to protect local workers. But FT MLs are ok... cos I heard local talent lacking😅

Actually.  The way I see this is not a bad thing at all for the world over all.

US ppl have over spend, over eat way too much for the past 30-40years .

In fact they buy and create so much waste that. US alone buy a large % of the world products. They are by way the world biggest consumers despite having a much lower population then alot of countries.

If tariffs can cut down US spending and wasting of resources.  I am all for it.

Billion dollars tax cuts for the rich will blow up an already ballooning deficit.

The country cannot afford it.

The US economy will go down the toilet.

It will be as bad as the China economy

and the Russian economy.

I like to see the mass deportation begins. Borders will be saved !

the farmers who voted for trump may suddenly find themselves with a rotting harvest with no undocumented "illegal" immigrants to pick them. 😁

I think many are already thinking twice before embarking on the journey from every corner of the earth towards the border, knowing they could just be denied entry or arrested and sent straight home by the time they reach their in January!
