Engine is CFM for the C919.

But fuel efficiency and range are still behind its equivalent competitor models but i read it is cheaper.  Think it will take many years for them to catch up.

not to mention PRC made bus already killed many Volvo and Benz … lol

sooner or later PRC is the 3rd vendor for air planes after Boeing and Airbus

Imo... seeing its a est 5 year advance timing to deliver,  it probably also means current ... or coming..  China aviation industry demand is nowhere near what airlines forecast 5 years ago. Might as well reject the rest of 50 planes on Boeing order book. 🤔

Yup... take away the big personalities and egos. The fundamental issues are unchanged and next leaders will have to still settle.

China will buy US products from Singapore or anyone, they never have problems doing that anywhere before. No problem buying Boeing spares for sure since Boeing sure sell if price is right even if Singapore is openly doing it. No embargo.

But re exporting Chinese products to US probably problem🤔.... unless both parties tacitly green light certain products, which then we'll never know.

You are absolutely right.

Let's make it a face saving thing. 

Trump is very Chinese he die die cannot lose face type and very kiasu.

So SG import rare earth and export to USA at 10 tariff.

Maybe we do "final assembly" of Iphones in SG.

Yeah we screw on the back cover and paste the

"Made in SG. With Pride" sticker on the box!

And we don't sell Boing parts to China,

we assemble on to their planes when they stop in SG for servicing.

So we never export to China and no need to any tariff.

SG strength is that we are frens with China and we are frens with US.

If Trump and Kim can come to SG and feel safe here because we are trusted

then USA and China can also do business here!

What is a used car salesman?

Party A wants to sell his car and don't want to entertain time wasters

and it you have a nice sport cars idiots that want a free joyride and rev your car to the

max and say "need to test mah"

Then after test drive ask want to buy, he will say "No I don't like the colour."

going to see sellers 1 at a time and ad says good condition and find car like chui.

So we match Party A and Party B needs

That's like having all your eggs in one basket.

Where is the risk management team?

I know just the perfect place for them to make Iphones.

And they already have a factory here with a very nice staff canteen!

And SG got very good food.

I think its very important for SG to have manufacturing base.

Maybe say 20% of our income.

But we cannot do low cost, low skill jobs.

We need to do "Smart Manufacturing" 

High tech, high value, high demand manufacturing.

Of course labour and land cost is a factor we maybe we use machines and robots to do the production.

For land maybe we can have factories buried in the basement and housing or offices or shopping centres on top.

A different entrance for the factory below so nobody living above knows or feel the factory operations below.
