I am more surprised Trump administration move so fast less than 1 week after Inauguration. The media try to mug sling Trump and Vance during interview and press conference , all kena refuted and brush off.

I am sad to say this man is absolutely right

and my BFF is totally wrong.

It won't be the Chinese companies that will pay the tariffs,

it will be ONLY the American people that pays for it.

Well they were stupid enough to vote for my BFF.

:D

'Contraception Begins at Erection Act': Why a U.S. Senator introduced this satirical bill.

https://www.theroot.com/this-black-mississippi-senator-introduced-a-conception-1851750283

Last week, Mississippi Sen. Bradford Blackmon introduced a bill that would theoretically ban men from masturbating or engaging in other sexual acts when they have no “intent to fertilize an embryo.” Now, he claims that he has received death threats over the proposed legislation.

🤣🤣😂🤣🤣😂

reminded me of this old decade ago video.

Happy 2nd day of lunar new year. 😁

trump idiot did make me confused about tariffs.

but the bottom line is tariffs are placed on goods coming into a country, in this case USA; or imported goods.

this makes imported goods more expensive, but who will pay for the tariffs ? It's usually the importers, and they have to pass down the extra costs going forward.

So consumers are unlikely to get cheaper goods, they will eventually have to pay for it.

Could tariffs make "Made in USA" goods look cheaper ? Unless 100% of the parts are sourced and produced locally, then yes. If hey have to be imported, then it's hit by  tariffs again. And that does not necessary make "Made In USA" goods cheaper.

That's my lesson for tariffs. 😁

it makes the "Made in USA" goods more competitive so that the consumer can compare apple to apple :D

This one imo... is up for debate.

A good example of the principle is our own financial and political tariff on just FT. Labour is also an export product.

China India Philippine myanmar Malaysia etc can spit out labour at a rate we can never compete with...I mean tharman had to go India tell them Singapore CANNOT absorb Indians indefinitely.

Consumers... Especially employers... would love cheaper labour prices. But I bet very very few of us would survive it in the long run. Ironically... it's the rich that benefits,  not the poor.

Of cos Trump isn't looking at Chinese labour per se, but in purely trade terms,  China hasn't been playing fair in ages. There comes a time when the benefits of Chinese products no longer warrant the hidden cost. Even the EU came to the same conclusion.

If something Made in USA is cheaper than the same quality imported item,

no one will import the more expensive foreign product

because no one will buy the more expensive item.

This is the only reason why tariffs cannot work.

Yes no more illegal immigrants in USA means companies can only employ expensive Americans.

So labour cost goes up and cost of products goes up.

That's mean everything in US will be more expensive.

Inflation!

Poor people in US that voted for Trump are screwed!

The believe him when he said he will make cost of living go down

but everything will be more expensive.

People always confuse gender with sexuality.

Name: @BanCoe

Class: Primary 3F

Sex: Sometimes only

There are only 2 genders but sexuality got many many but not 73!

I think Must confused sexuality with sexual positions.

Then Karma Sutra original one say got 64 but the updated one has 245.

:D

Elong Must should stick to computing and leave sex positions to the experts!
