Those china brand EV look so fancy and many random brand popping up to make EV. The issue is will their ev last for 7 years and beyond, will it start to rust after 2-3 years? After sales and warranty ok or not? Will the company even be around after 7 years? Some brands are too new and nobody knows what will happen in our hot and humid weather of SG. How the resell value of Chinese EV after 5-7 years.

We shall see is Chinese ev 中看不中用。

Have you try open and close the door of a BYD Atto 3 and especially the SEAL?

It just feel like any German.

Take a look at the Seal quality and interior material used, don't under estimate China car manufacture.

Jipun must come from Toyota Tahara.

Otherwise, it might be on par with China EV.

Tesla "brought" along Casting Machine, Robot Arm and supply chain when GigaShanghai was set up.

The casting machine can be seen in Xiaomi car presentation.

Haha, Tesla I mai chop (thai - I don't like, who cares)

Prestige?

Since when it look prestige.. The interior has been looking cheap since day one, like any other American car.

Donno. Maybe can ask in the Tesla thread. 😁 Some of them exude atas, fast and techie aura. I used to see a grey tesla model 3 driving like a maniac F1 at outram area ard SGH that I always meet him again at traffic light. 😆

But they are the 1 who started the trend going towards large casting machine.

PRC EV manufacturers are following.

Yup try and even sit inside. The doors are so heavy like German cars when compared to even Toyota Harrier hybrid at the car@expo.

Nowadays even Korean brand cars doors are heavier than Japanese brands.

German, Korean and all those EV, they are already at digital instruments cluster and large infotainment display, ventilated seats etc yet when walk over to look at Toyota and Honda, I just sigh. They just cannot keep it up to date when today trends, still typical Japanese old school mindsets.

Quota volume up again slightly... but demand growth so far seems stronger

Car at Expo 2024 sales + those that bought via non guaranteed COE that didn’t manage to get their COE in April will once again compete for May COE.

Not sure whether did the backlog for Singapore Motor show 2024 in January clear already or not as there are many people buying with non guaranteed COE and the COE price just keep increasing from there.
