Yesterday at Thomson Plaza there is a BYD road. Go kaypo kaypo.

They log the Cat A gurantee COE at $65k. Anything lower will refund for the Atto3.

The Seal is the car very impress. Veŕy good built quality.  Rear space was also very big for a sport saloon.

byd is facing slow down in demand at home despite price war against tesla...to keep their ice and ev plants running they have to go cheap overseas...everywhere and anywhere that's cheap to enter...under cut many usual suspects in those markets...value proposition and pricing has lured many locals towards their models...be it ice or ev...

Ironically all AD in Sg have huge profit margin... coz singkies love being carrot

Yea I keep hearing AD saying 10k profit margin on a 30k OMV car (I.e. 33% margin) not enough to provide maintenance, warranty etc.

with such a low volume, AD can survive with $10k/car meh?

These 10k / 33% margin cars are the rare cases there are clearance/“special” deals. Most of the time the margin is 20k / 66% and above.

in any event, I don’t see car dealers reducing margins when there are more pieces of coe available and volume is higher.

I also saw this BYD roadshow. So they predict cat A coe will drop back to 65k?! 😅

I prefer the atto 3 design, looks nice. The seal i find the car a bit too low.

Seal is a Sport Saloon.

Atto 3 is a CUV.

BYD like quite aggressive in their sale recently? Like always have roadshow at malls.
