Some of the highways in the interior cut through mountains and jungles. In the old days, before construction of north-south and east-west highways, this region was relatively isolated. Up till the 70s and 80s there were even communist terrorists (left over from the malayan emergency days) still hidden and operating in the jungles in this area, until the peace treaty was finally signed; travel at night was not advisable.

Not surprising got elephants and tigers too.

Imagine those native aborigine people that you see in cameron highlands area, they stay in these rural wilds with the wildlife still prowling around in the forests just beyond their villages. Unthinkable.

It's nothing compare to those trophy hunter.

Remember not long ago. A protected lion king got lure out from its protected zone and shot for 🏆.

Iirc... Urine is medically sterile if the person is healthy with no illness or diseases etc. 

So it's not urine one needs to worry about. 

Just NEVER eat anything street in India unless you have the stomach of a hyena or crocodile 🤢🤮

Even restaurant,  I hear many people will also tio lau sai 🤣

After cooking, the high heat and all, should be sterile bah. But then the plates and utensils.

Went on work trip once before, city area, buy fried stuff, was okay. Don't wanna think about how old is the grease for frying [laugh]

It's the water that one has to be careful about. Always drink only bottled water. Don't even accept water in a glass in a restaurant, no no.

But People also buy bottled water, can drinks etc... then forget where ice come from😅

But I guest higher end restaurants should be ok.... should be.

I never street food in India nor shops...always drink can water, ...everyday drink coke..and eat in hotel....come back still tio lau sai...

never fails...that's why i dun like to go India..

A fren when started out as newbie flight attendant to India...he adhered to advice from senior not to drink outside hotel...drink only bottled water in hotel room...then he discovered a small diving record breaking roach inside the sealed bottle...😅

In the land of wonders...there's no end of escapade...and escape...😁

Some say that it's because when you shower, accidentally ingested some of the water from the tap [laugh]
