15secs is very short when the cars in front are dreaming and/or afraid to rev the engine for a quick pick-up. Very often when the arrow comes on, the first car takes 3 seconds to move off, and slowly. The second car follows suit.

Singapore driver trait: Very slow to move off, but cheong to pass amber and even red lights.

Also those doing U-turn like turtle. 3 lanes wide but like manoeuvring jumbo plane 😂

I really don’t understand why some drivers need to drive out of the lane to do a u-turn when the other side is wide enough? This is really bad habit for many drivers when doing u-turn.

Exactly, 15 sec confirmed is very short , esp when cars infront delay in moving off, so 15 seconds becomes 10 seconds. No wonder always congestion.

Useless wan lah. Last time after they implement traffic right turn on one junction I frequently pass, I wrote to them ask for green left arrow for the other side since may as well let vehicle go thru right?? But suddenly give excuse traffic volume not warranted 🙄🙄🙄

Many times, write to them also no use. They would give you 1001 reasons to justify the current situation no issue at all, and they will continue to monitor the situation.

U-turn? Some small hatchback drivers also swing right to turn left. Like driving a prime mover towing a 40 ft trailer. All I can say is they are damn c0ck drivers.

I also do that from the habit of driving pickup.

I will stick to the edge of the lane.
