Aiyah below 1k can use till end of warranty period is very good returns already.

I bought a couple of Samsung Frame TV cos I like the looks. But the price really bad! I hope the Chinese brands can come up with similar designs for 1/5 the price soon!

Don’t know what is the warranty period for those tv. Think usually should be around 1-3 years. Means i need to change tv every 1-3 years if i buy those tv ar. 😅 But the low price quite attractive le. Cause i see those LG, sony etc tv, all are $1000 plus to near $2000? So ex.

The other day pass by shop selling PRISM and Xiaomi TV, their price quite cheap, can find below $1,000. So can buy their TV? Quality ok? 🤔

I got one Xiaomi android tv. but it's quite slow, like Windows need to reboot after a while. 😁

I also got one TCL google tv, this is way faster and much better.

I bought the entry Xiaomi 43" FHD google tv a couple months back.. TV response is a bit slow during initial switch on.. have to wait a while for it to stabilize then switching between apps, channels etc is smoother.. but for $265 I can't really complain..

My choice for budget TV would be TCL > Xiaomi > Prism

I only watch 30min of news every night.

My mom has her TV running many hours everyday. Btw, are there any TV that can auto power down when it detects the viewer has dozed off?  😁

I guess the way we use it makes a difference to its lifespan.

I think android can do setting?

I could be wrong🤔

Mine goes to screensaver if left on a still page too long.

But if say on a movie... it keeps going.

Might as well use SingTel cast to watch on your phone.

I stream whatever from phone to TV

IMHO.
For Samsung,   the sleep timer can set but will reset when the TV is power on and off.
There is another timer where no activity, will power off ( min 4 hours ).

Alternative to use home automation to turn off the TV at specific time.

There are a few Carousell sellers with inventory of good as new appliances. Not sure if they are display units or repaired/refurbished. Some models quite new too. Anyone tried and feedback?

I saw TCL has a side-by-side fridge at Northpoint. Looks nice, big and cheap. I think about $1200 only compared to other more expensive brands.

I was at best denki looking at tv and the salesman told me LG TV is worth buying, but don't get the UHD, get at least QLED or OLED. I still don't understand what is the difference between them? 😅
