watched total 6 movies in 1 week of chinese film festival, from HK, Taiwan, China & Msia, quite tiring if trying to watch everything although many of them are award winning films in various category.

The one that i like most should be 但願人長久 but i wonder it will be shown in singapore in original language (in mixture of mandarin, hunan dialect and cantonese).

The one that i won't say is a good movie in filming and cinematography, but the story line kept me thinking for a while is 五月雪, directed by a young msian who is trying to tell the story of the 13 May 1969 racial riots event, not in any action, thriller style but more of theatre play. Went to wiki the event and saw it was one of the trigger for the racial riot in Singapore, quite an interesting part of the history. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1969_race_riots_of_Singapore

I dun think the movie will pass the censorship board in Malaysia   He got Taiwanese singer 万芳 to play the main female lead (i couldn't recognise that was her .

most popular movie in HK lately, action packed, some say better than Jackie chan or Donnie Yen which I quite agree. I like the 龙虎门 story plot, the nostalgic scenes and filming style. Even my wife who said only accompany me and bought many tidbits to keep her occupied, sat through the whole movie.

an old movie. Decades old movie. Seem it in a cinema back in hk. Subsequently watch it a few times from steaming. 

Once kf my favourite best cop/triads hk movie. Depicted the lifestyle of hk in the 90s. Original Cantonese.

My gf idol 方中信。
