Watched first man before. It's good. Don't think most people will have patience to watch this type of movies nowadays.

I watched saving private Ryan, the thin redline, titanic several times...all around 3 hrs...😂

first man is technically quite solid. cinematography and music was excellent, esp the moon landing sequence. doubt I'll rewatch anytime soon, though.

The Thin Red Line is the only Terrence Malick movie I can appreciate. One of the better WW2 movies made.

Dune 2...to me 1 was better...this instalment had too many fighting scenes...too much shouting as well...tried too hard to explain the world we know as of today...nucleus nuclear families? 😁

recently watched 2 movies starring 吳慷仁，he is really a very good actor.

Last night watched 但願人長久 at the chinese film festival and the director cum female actor of the movie was at the cinema to share her stories of making the movie.

The ritual dance FL performed was awesome.

Cinematic was good. Casts were good as well. The only weak point I would say is the weak plot. Storyline went down hill 3qtr into the movie when the movie deviated from haunted buried ancestor tales into  a Japanese warrior vampire. The division of North and South because of a needle?

Actually i was thinking the plot could go along where ancestor spirit transformed into those foxes. One of the fox turn into a beautiful modern lady. Modern pretty lady are vicious.😁

Anyway, from hat point onward not much of suspense, eerie feel anymore. Surely FL/ML will eventually defeat the 100 years old plus vampire.

OK. Monday morning. Back to work.

This is good.

Somehow it give me a bit of feeling of watching hk ghost movies last time.

But they bring it to the next level.
