I think it is comparable with NIRO, but if you read the thread abt NIRO, I think KMC has better after sales services. Anyway Kia is the "child" of Hyundai, so all the goodies will go to Kia first. This is my 3rd Hyundai... hahaha... so ya...

@kobayashiGT  Not too sure about the specs, but Kona definitely feels much more spacious. Rear seats were also alot more comfortable for my wife, which was a determining factor. Test drove both in a day and generally prefer Kona.

the base model for Kona also had more stuff as compared to niro base model.

Another factor was the sales service at Kia, so bad when i went down recently. no time for you and one of them gave a very bad impression but maybe because busy. Hyundai, though busy at least smile smile.

For info, i drove a kia cerato previously and was good nonetheless (servicing etc).

hahaha. yes yes. Laopo wansui! hahaha.

If can try a few more model. Can look at second hand market also. So you have a idea, what you are getting. Unless you urgently need a car. If not slowly shop. No hurry!

Kona exterior design still not as ugly as ioniq 6 la. I find ioniq design looks weird. Not doubts Niro looks nicer as compared with hyundai.

Actually i thought Kia Niro cabin space feels bigger than Kona.

Kona does look abit bigger outside.

Maybe! Not too sure of the interior dimensions, but Kona suited my needs!

Based on my experiences with KMC, anything spoilt send in to KMC, they will repair FOC as long as it is under warranty, of cuz not due to wear and tear kind lah…. No questions asked.

My upcoming KONA is my third Hyundai, so far I m happy with their services when i got my first, misses sometimes but they tried their best to do recovery and I see the improvements.

When I was on leave in Dec, I went to quite a few car dealers including 2nd hand ones to scout around. I feel that KONA attracted me most! Comfort, handling, tech for the price I think is quite worth, I nearly signed on the paper before the last COE bidding but I hold to see the last COE results before I sign. And heng ah! I managed to serve quite abit! Hahaha… hope I can get my COE soon! 🙂
