Altis at 150K is very closed to MG ZS trophy price...and it rear wheel drive.. I go MG ....

the build quality and paint work is unmatch or even better than the Jap. Functionality and feature for feature, the Japs will struggle to give u 360 camera , ADAS, LAne keep assist, active cruise control and the list goes on at the same price point.

Its not wrong to support the jap. They have been known for years for all the good work process and quality control.

Unless you have physically seen the build quality, you will continue to stereotype the Chinese made product like polestar and Smart and etc as poor quality product cousin to the japs and koreans.

There's only so much one can price a small car. Remember there are a lot of other taxes aside from COE too. At 100k COE a small hatchback will be minimum 150k-160k with minimal profit margin. That alone makes it quite unpalatable for many.

Thailand  one year car sales volume is about 800k to 900k, more than sgp car population, to say we are a small provision shop is a overstatement, we should be a rojak stall at best. 😅
