Catering company recommendation for CNY

Need a caterer for cny day 2. Maybe mini buffet type. 

Generic Chinese food with some vegetarian dishes. 

Any recommendations for which caterer the food not pai jiak?

Yeah no malay/peranakan type since it's cny.

Must be ginah also can eat type. Lol

I always used Neo Garden and never disappointed.

The secret is not the catering company but the choice of which dishes.

I always get the mini chocolate eclairs and people keep poping them into their mouths non stop and its always gone.

Kids and adults will always like sweet and sour pork and lemon chicken and curry chicken and fried beehoon and fried rice.

Mini spring rolls and mini samosa always gone. I think logan fruit cocktails with honey sea coconut also always gone.

So if all the food gone no guest every said not nice!

To me that's success!

I don't think any NG marketing person can do a better description than me.

Just typing my review my mouth is watering.

I am a marketing man but this is my personal opinion and not a paid advertisement!

As a rule I never do any sales talk in MCF

except for jamesc used cars and jamesc heavenly spa paradise 

and JTA Japan Tourism Association and I always full disclosure I am Chief Digital Marketing Officer.

I didn't really like neo garden food other than their curry chicken.

Anyway that's from my recollection from like 9-10 years ago.

Yeah but its never what the host likes its what the guests like.

In my case MIL say food nice no one can say anything!

Not nice also as long as she like job done!

Just need to select your most demanding and loudest mouth guest and satisfy them.

Other people complain let her deal with them.

Try them once before. Disappointed. 

Try another major brand before also. Same result. Just so so.

I think cny really cannot expect too much.

Hearsay big names outsource sometimes...

I used to get from a privately owned boh licence homecooked style...his landed house backyard in prime district was the production kitchen...business all thru referral...sibeh good...all guests said the same...he charged me cheap cheap becos of a close family fren... too bad...retired liao 😁

Like some bro say.

Really depend on what period and what dishes u order. 

Fried and cold food or drinks won't  go wrong normally.

But cook dishes esp on cny tend to be over cook. Some of the meat dishes also very hard.

I believe they cook over night and keep them of fridges.  If not how they gonna handle .
