It's the budget category and only really offered as PHV. Target audience is like indonesia/PH etc.

BYD also makes budget car models directly as taxi. This one is like just 1 step up from that.

I do not think DC charging is available so common nowadays, most likely PHV drivers would be using AC charging overnight. But if need 13hrs to fully charge, not really suitable as PHV since daily mileage for a taxi is around 300km? If I am PHV driver, I would be having range anxiety issues daily if there is no DC charging near my house haha.

The claim range is 440km.

Give it a 20% discount, that will be 352km.

It is not difficult to find DC charger.

Take 1 hour lunch break to charge car.

I would not even consider any EV if its century sprint is more than 10sec, or ac charging need more than 10hrs. Anything lower is serious compromise unless no other choices such as using it for livelihood and no money for better options.

To be specific, AC Max charging rate should not be lower than 11kW.  Seems BYD rides all only support 6.6kW to 7kW so charging very slow, same for other lower end Chinese EVs. EVs from Kia and Volkswagon and Denza and Skoda and Tesla all support 11kW so ac charging do not take that long. Something I learnt today.

Home charging is usually 7kw? So maybe more relevant for those non landed who use public AC chargers.

The AC charger at amk hub is 22kw which is on the high end of ac charging?

Not well versed in this.

7kw AC is common.  11kw AC is still rare for public charging now.  Not many EV can do 11kw AC.

For 11kw AC, it will be halved once 2 cars charged from the same charging station.

When you are driving EV, it is charged as and when it is available.

Only newbie operates like ICE car.

Currently if for Chinese EVs, I would consider only this Aion Y Plus and Mifa 7 and D9 due to different price point considerations. But Mix is the only one that really pique my interest due to revolutionary design and practicality, really one of a kind.

Vincar is selling a good number of Aions. I was there today, saw like 3 or 4 people collecting their Aion.

There is a road show at IMM, the M6 was fully surrounded when I was there. One lady went there to feel the car, and I think she bought there. [laugh] [laugh] [laugh]

I think the M6 is base off the e6, but greatly improved. Not a very big car actually, and 3rd row quite sad.

Yah, my area has quite a number of AC chargers at 22kwh, some even as high as 50kwh, but useless if the car limit is only 7kwh. [laugh] [laugh] [laugh]
