Well it's more expensive then Tesla.  Not to mention China EV.

Porsche have a different target audience than those generic Chinese evs. EVs in the luxury segment are harder to sell as their target audience have so many choices. Their own panamera are already competitors to their taycan.

Porsche 2024 sales is 311k car.
Panny & Taycan (from 41k to 21k) sales dropped against previous year.

911, 718 & Cayenne increased again previous year.

and cross-pollination.. audi etron as well as other more potent EV from Lotus does not help makes it easier...

Looks like batteries in EVs last much longer in real life stop and go traffic conditions than that simulated charge/discharge cycles in laboratory tests according to Nature Energy article here: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41560-024-01675-8.

So batteries in EVs can last around 38% longer in real life (based on the Energy Nature journal study) - and this indicates that that the current battery warranties given by EV manufacturers are conservative.  For example, BYD offers 8 years manufacturer battery warranty. In real life it will last 38% longer, which means the battery is good for around 11 years in real world use. This is well beyond the life time of the CoE.

Got more than 3k ICE cars less than 2 years on sgcarmart compared to 600 EV. Means ICE got bigger problem meh? 😑

Wrong stats... 3k over total no. of ICE vs 600 over total of EV.... I dun own an EV, dunno whether is there problem :D

Correct stats bro. By nature, EVs are newer than ICE. How to compare? It's just like more people selling iPhone than Nokia phones now. So is there problem with iPhone or Nokia phones?;

You might be replying to one who just make the switch and needs more assurance. So cannot tahan any “heat”. Must type something to cure the bitterness when there’s none in the first place. Not all is as cool as some of our EV owners here. 

Saw one FB user very pro Tesla and bitter against all others including other EV users. Can’t recall the FB nick thou. I was like 🤷🏼‍♂️.

What?! As if a Tesla is someone else’s life and death. Life’s more to that man, gosh.

Heard on radio, the listener ask if he should go for coe Macan or brand new Chinese EV,  the dj suggest go for the Chinese EV to future proof yourself with all the tech and AI🤣

Just filtering on ICE cars less than 2 years old.

anyway I am just pointing out that people sell cars for all sort of reasons. The data doesn’t mean anything at all.

EV got simi tech and ai? If tech=chip,  all the top tier chips now gonna be 2nd class next summer.
