Heng I never restock and buy a lot of used cars when COE was so high.

When COE goes down I will lose a lot of money.

This will be good, by separating PHV from private car COE will remove the unfair competition between PHV and private car buyers.

SINGAPORE is not ruling out a separate Certificate of Entitlement (COE) category for cars owned by private-hire vehicle (PHV) fleet operators, said Acting Minister for Transport Chee Hong Tat.

What happen when PHV category is lower than private car buyers? Am sure there are only a few PHV fleet operators and can easily manipulate the bidding price.

It says PHV fleet buyers so the man in the street with a PHV car will still use the normal coe category. This is good.

it's unlikely

but if it happens, one can always buy a PHV car and choose not to drive it for PHV use

until LTA implements another rule that PHV car must clock minimum mileage per month 😎

You don't say [laugh]

Bui kia is unlikely to re-helm MoT already, even if the verdict is clean. He will be swept under the carpet, forgotten.
